Lulo, Naranjilla ( Solanum quitoense)
(Solanum quitoense) commonly called, Lulo, Naranjilla is a culinary plant.
Seeds are sowed.
- Tangy and sweeter than that of the cherry tomato. Some say it tastes like a combination of pineapple, kiwi, and citrus.
Nutrients
Nutrients can change somewhat based on the country where each lulo is grown. As a general rule, however, lulo is high in Vitamin C, A, B6, and K, along with calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, zinc, and fiber.

Naranjilla, Lulo (Solanum quitoense.) It’s native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, but is also grown in Panama and Costa Rica.
Fruits are fuzzy orange balls.
